THE GLADE AT GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL
From 2015 Paul Giblin has been the compere for the main stage in The Glade area at Glastonbury Festival. Hoisting diverse experimental and world music by day, plus big-name DJs and live dance acts at night, The Glade is at the heart of the Glastonbury site, with the Glade main stage nestling among a group of poplar trees at the crossroads where the paths to the Pyramid and other large stages meet those to the Green Fields and Shangri-La. Over the years Paul has had the pleasure and privilege of introducing acts from around the world including The Radiophonic Workshop, Public Service Broadcasting (complete with their own Sputnik and astronaut), The Orb, Eat Static, Squarepusher, System7, Ozric Tentacles, Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim, Howard Marks, The Alabama 3, Cassetteboy & DJ Rubbish, The Dub Pistols, Adrian Sherwood, The Beat, The Egg, Josefine Ohrn & The Liberation – and the list goes on…
The Glade Crew are also a wonderful group of people to work with!
